The veteran musicians of the Orquestra Buena Vista Social Club exposed the world to the vibrant sounds of Afro-Cuban music with their landmark 1997 album and Wim Wenders’ Oscar-nominated documentary about them. The members, many of them in their seventies or even older, found sudden fame. Two decades later, the band bids farewell to their time onstage with a final series of performances around the globe.
