Don’t Be a Dick About It
Red-headed brothers Peter and Matthew are growing up at home with their parents in affluent suburban Maryland. When they aren’t winding each other up, Peter stages endless dramatic recreations of Survivor evictions while Matthew hangs out at the park, determined to overcome his profound fear of dogs. This hilarious and moving portrait of the two brothers over one summer captures the nuances of their complicated relationship as they battle their fears, frustrations, and ultimate love for one another. A stream of priceless scenes saw this charming film take out the Audience Award at the prestigious International Documentary Festival Amsterdam (IDFA).
