This fascinating and inspirational history of the NSW Builders Labourers Federation arose out of Pat Fiske’s personal experience as one of the first women to work as a builder’s labourer. Using historical footage and interviews, the film charts the development of a singular union whose innovative social and political activities challenged the notion of what a union should be.
