Once upon a time, villagers in a tiny town in Tuscany came up with a remarkable way to confront their issues – they turned their lives into a play. Every summer, their piazza becomes a stage and residents play themselves facing their own struggles. As neighbouring villages have turned to tourism for survival, the annual event has kept the town together for 50 years. Leading the way is 75-year-old Andrea, who’s devoted his life to this tradition. But with the younger generation losing interest, he struggles to keep it from crumbling.
