BECOME A VOLUNTEER
Antenna Documentary Film Festival is back in cinemas across Sydney, 2–13 February, to once again celebrate the best in documentary cinema from the past year, and we need your help!
As a non-profit organisation, volunteers are the backbone of Antenna and have been vital in ensuring the festival’s success over the past decade. As a volunteer you may be called on to direct patrons to the correct cinema, scan tickets, answer people’s questions, help with setting up or packing up, selling tickets or other ad hoc duties at the venue.
We believe it’s important that our volunteers have a fun experience, and get the chance to get to meet new people who share their passion for documentaries. As thanks for your help you will receive a festival t-shirt and be entitled to a free admit one code for every shift you complete, to be redeemed for any session during the festival.
Antenna is proceeding as planned but we wish to reassure you that we are committed to everyone’s safety and comfort. As such, it’s a condition of entry to all Antenna screenings and events that everyone is fully vaccinated (minimum two doses, unless medically exempt) and wears a face mask at all times within the venue. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we work together to protect our community.
To sign up for shifts (including Volunteer Orientation on Saturday 29 January) just head to our Timecount page and follow the instructions. Thank you so much for your help!
