CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS

Entries are now open for the 12th Antenna Documentary Film Festival, returning to cinemas across Sydney, Australia from 9—18 February 2024. The Festival will continue to showcase the best of non-fiction cinema from Australia and around the world. Submissions for the Festival are being accepted through Film Freeway in two categories.
Australian films with a runtime over 30 minutes but less than 60 minutes are welcome to submit as a Feature Documentary.

DEADLINE: The closing date for all entries is 1 August 2022

BEST FEATURE DOCUMENTARY COMPETITION
$10,000 CASH PRIZE

Feature Documentary Competition comes with two cash-prizes totalling 10,000 AUD. 7,500 AUD for the ‘Best Feature Documentary Award’ winner and 2,500 AUD for the ‘Special Jury Award’ winner. These prizes are sponsored by Macquarie University.

BEST AUSTRALIAN SHORT DOCUMENTARY COMPETITION
$5,000 CASH PRIZE
Australian Short Documentary Competition which comes with a 5,000 AUD cash prize, sponsored by the Australian Film Television & Radio School.
