Homegrown

Michael Premo

Homegrown is an unflinching chronicle of Americans at war with each other. Three passionate—yet entirely different—supporters of Donald Trump embark on a cross-country journey in the summer of 2020, determined to help re-elect their favoured president. Though their efforts didn’t achieve the desired outcome, they became intertwined with one of the most notorious events in recent American history: the storming of the Capitol. Offering a rare and disturbing glimpse into the mindset of these individuals, Homegrown is a chilling portrait of a growing movement that thrives on chaos and polarisation, undermining the foundations of American society and pushing its democracy to the brink.
